Gianforte Celebrates Montana Winners of National High School Finals Rodeo
Montana Congressman Greg Gianforte this week celebrated two Montanans who won at June’s National High School Finals Rodeo.
On the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Gianforte congratulated Shai McDonald, of Gardiner, and Brice Patterson, of Bozeman, who competed at the international event in Wyoming. McDonald won second place in barrel racing, and Patterson took fourth in bareback riding.
“The outstanding work ethic and dedication of these young athletes allow them to compete and succeed at this high level,” Gianforte said.
The National High School Finals Rodeo brought together about 1,500 finalists from across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Australia.
“I congratulate Shai and Brice on their accomplishments at the National High School Finals Rodeo. You make Montana proud,” Gianforte said.
