Gianforte’s Constituent Outreach Program Reaches Every County in Montana
Montana Congressman Greg Gianforte announced that his staff has held office hours for constituents in every county in Montana.
“Because Montanans shouldn’t have to travel to my offices when they need help, I decided to bring my staff and congressional resources directly to them,” Gianforte said.
Gianforte explained why he started the mobile office hours program.
“Susan and I launched a successful small business out of our home that was focused on customer service. I used the same approach when I launched this mobile office program – to ensure Montanans are served and heard,” Gianforte said.
Gianforte began his mobile office hours program in February 2018. Since then, his staff has held mobile office hours in the 53 counties where he does not have a physical office. Gianforte’s district offices are in Cascade, Lewis and Clark, and Yellowstone counties.
“We’ve been able to make a real difference with these mobile offices, helping Montanans who need assistance with the federal government,” Gianforte said.
The program is part of Gianforte’s ongoing outreach efforts. Within his first two months in office Gianforte met with Montanans in all 56 counties. While continuing to meet with constituents across the state, his mobile office hours program provides an additional opportunity for Montanans to offer input or seek assistance.
“Meeting with Montanans face-to-face, eye-to-eye is the only way I know to do this job,” Gianforte said. “My door is always open, and I encourage Montanans to contact me with their thoughts or concerns, or if I can be of service.”
Gianforte’s mobile office program will continue with upcoming stops in Chouteau, Fergus, Glacier, and Wheatland counties. Residents may find more information on Gianforte’s website at https://gianforte.house.gov/mobile-office-hours.
