Gianforte’s Outreach Program Marks Successful First Year
Congressman Greg Gianforte’s program to hold office hours in every Montana county recently marked its successful first year.
Gianforte’s mobile office hours program provides an opportunity for Montanans to offer input or seek assistance. The program is part of Gianforte’s ongoing outreach efforts, including his monthly town halls and his 56-county tour.
Gianforte launched his mobile office hours program in Harlowton on February 21, 2018. Since the first office hours in Wheatland County, his staff has held open office hours at least once in every Montana county.
“Montanans shouldn’t have to drive hours to sit down with someone to get help with a federal agency or express their views. That’s why I started this mobile office hours program, and the response has been overwhelming,” Gianforte said. “Folks are bringing us problems they have with the federal government, and we’re getting results for them.”
Gianforte’s mobile office program will continue with office hours scheduled in at least nine counties for March. More information about the program and upcoming office hours throughout the state may be found on Gianforte’s website at https://gianforte.house.gov/mobile-office-hours.
